NCC is selling its Vaghuset and Brick Studios office projects in Göteborg to Alecta Fastigheter for over €195.8 million. The properties, located next to each other in central Göteborg, were completed in 2023 and are nearly fully leased, with tenants like PwC, Mannheimer Swartling, Smarteye, and More Alliance. The transaction, set for completion on December 12, 2024, will positively impact NCC’s Property Development earnings for Q4 2024.

Alecta Fastigheter views this acquisition as a strategic addition to its Gothenburg portfolio. Both buildings are expected to achieve BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification, and the Masthuggskajen area, where they are located, is the first in Sweden to receive Citylab sustainability certification.

NCC’s third project in the area, Habitat 7, will be completed in 2025, offering 8,000 square meters of timber-framed office space designed to minimize construction carbon emissions.
