The tentatively-named Takeshiba Area Development Plan A Block is projected to be 208 meters tall and is currently under construction in Tokyo. This building will be the future headquarters of Softbank, which is currently located in the 173-meter tall Tokyo Shiodome Building.

Construction at the Hamamatsucho Station side of the tower is underway. The plan is to connect the building to the monorail above JR Hamamatsucho Station. While details are still emerging, the plans seems to allow direct access into the JR Hamamatsucho Station from the tower. The building will also have entrances into the Yurikamome Line’s Takeshiba Station. Construction has made significant headway, with work continuing on the low-rise portion of the plan.

The tower will sit in close proximity to the Tokyo Metropolitan Shiba Commercial High School.

The building’s exterior creates a unique viewing experience, in which the orientation of the viewer will shift how the tower appears, due to the various triangular motifs featured on the building’s exterior.
