The fifth tower of the Cuatro Torres financial district in Madrid, currently under construction, will include a six-room cinema, according to the developers of the skyscraper, the Villar Mir group and the Filipino businessman Andrew Tan.

The “boutique” cinema complex will be located in the commercial space of the Caleido tower in the Cuatro Torres financial district. It will have 1,258 square meters of surface distributed in six rooms, with a capacity for a total of 440 spectators. The Spanish operator Ocine will manage it under the Urban brand.

"This is a new concept, with the intent to revolutionize the way of seeing, living, and feeling the cinema," according to Ocine and the promoters of the Caleido tower.

Additionally, the 38-story Caleido tower, which is at the north end of the Paseo de la Castellana complex, will house the Instituto de Empresa business school and, on the four-story horizontal extension, an advanced medicine center for the Quiron group.

The project, which will involve a total investment of 300 million euros (US$324 million), will be completed with green areas and a commercial area, where the cinema complex will be located.
