Excavation Begins For Two-Tower Project in Manhattan, New York City
Excavation and pilings are in progress at 570 Washington Street, which is the site of a two-tower residentail project in New York City being designed by COOKFOX Architects and SLCE Architects. Zeckendorf Development, Atlas Capital, and the Baupost Group are developing the projects.
The 29- and 36-story towers will respectively reach 400 (121 meters) and 450 feet (137 feet) in height and the development will altogether cost around US$1.25 billion. VI Clarkson LLC is the owner and AECOM Tishman is the general contractor.
Renderings show a sculptural design carved out by terraces and setbacks. Cantilevered balconies occupy the southern tower faces.
