Entertainment Center to be Replaced with Condo in Toronto
An adult entertainment establishment that was popular in the 1950s in Toronto may be razed in favor of 64-story condominium tower.
Developer Concord has proposed about five properties in the area that would see the landmark replaced at 699-701 Yonge.
Other properties included in the proposal include a building at 703-705 Yonge with an H-Mart grocery store, 707 Yonge and 1-7 Hayden.
In place of the current buildings, the developer intends to construct a condo tower designed by architects Dialog, rising 218.8 meters into the ever-changing Bloor-Yorkville skyline.
