Cape Town has received a new, tall building addition to its city. The Rockefeller plans to open for occupancy in December. The project is in Cape Town's City Center, located next to Harbour Arch, a complex that is under construction, whose first building should be complete next year. 

This project will contain both serviced apartments and hotel rooms. Overall, the building contains 395 units for residents and hotel guests. It also will feature 24-hour concierge and security. 

The project has a total of 19 floors. The ground floor contains a double volume lobby as well as space for three restaurants. The first floor holds a fitness center, a drop & go laundromat, conference facilities, meeting rooms, and a co-working space called Ideas Cartel. The roof has a Skye Bar and pool that have views to Table Bay, Table Mountain, and the city. The pool is enclosed by large windows and has retractable roof, making it accessible year-round.
