Construction Started for 29-Story Melbourne Residential High-Rise
Construction has begun on a 29-story high-rise called "Regatta" at Collins Wharf in Melbourne's Docklands, part of the Victoria Harbour precinct. This project, led by Lendlease, is located where Collins Street meets the water between the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour, is the second of six planned residential developments in the area. Regatta will feature 317 homes, a concierge-serviced lobby, an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, gym, and multi-purpose rooms. Over 80 percent of the units have already been pre-sold. The building will be all-electric with infrastructure for electric vehicles and aims for a 5-star Green Star certification.
The development also includes more than 5,000 square meters of public space, contributing to the City of Melbourne’s Greenline project. The first project in the precinct, No.1 Collins Wharf, was completed in 2018, with Ancora being the next in line. Regatta is scheduled for completion in 2026.
