Construction Progresses on Residential High-Rise in Dubai
Construction of the 479-unit Aura building in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) is progressing along. Azizi is well on track to complete the development, which will comprise of 349 studios, 87 one-bedroom, and 43 two-bedroom apartments, by the second quarter of 2020.
The structure is complete, with the blockwork and internal plastering nearing completion. Work on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), façade, tiling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and elevators are also progressing rapidly.
According to Mohamed Ragheb, Executive Director of the Engineering Division at Azizi Developments, Aura is one of the many developments the company is looking forward to handing over to the client in 2020. Two 2020 completions are already under the company’s belt with plans for more.
“It fills us with immense pride to see this world-class 18-story development materialize at such a fast-tracked pace. We’ve maintained high levels of operational efficiency and excellence, all while taking precautionary measures, amid the current global situation, that meet and exceed circulated advisories,” he commented.
Aura is one of the very few freehold residential developments in the heart of JAFZA, the UAE’s flagship integrated business hub, largest matured free zone area in the world and one of the biggest ports in the Middle East.
With the UAE Exchange Metro Station and Sheikh Zayed Road right at its doorstep, and designed with ample lighting and spacious areas, the development will give residents easy access to the city’s business, leisure, and retail hubs.
Amenities in the building will include two swimming pools, a gym, a health club with sauna, open spaces and recreational areas, concierge service, covered parking and a podium level with over 9,000 square feet (840 square meters) of retail space.
