Construction Company Wins $241 Million Contract for Luxury Residential Tower in Dubai
DAMAC Properties has officially awarded China State Construction Engineering Corporation with the main works construction contract for its 71-story Cavalli Tower.
The contract, valued at approximately US$241 million, was awarded by DAMAC to finalize the main works construction of the luxury high-end residential tower in Dubai Marina. Cavalli Tower will feature interior designs by Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli and expansive views of the Palm Jumeriah.
“Following a rigorous selection process, we are proud to appoint China State Construction Engineering Corporation as our primary contractor to assist in building a truly iconic building that embodies sophistication and elegance,” stated Mohammed Tahaineh, general manager of Projects at DAMAC Properties. Shaun Killa of Killa Design designed the tower.
The tower’s luxury and upper luxury sections will have access to a private pool and gardens. Residents that have access to "super luxury" sections will be able to enjoy even more amenities. The tower also includes a four-story-high lobby and a Malibu Bay-inspired beach pool.
The enabling works for Cavalli Tower were completed by the National Piling Corporation (NPC) and the company’s piling and excavation works were finished in December 2022.
DAMAC Properties and China State Construction Engineering Corporation have previously worked together with CSCEC working as the primary contractor for DAMAC Aykon City.
