The east tower of the SHIROKANE (Platinum) The SKY complex will rise 45 stories above ground with a height of 156 meters. The tower, which is within close proximity of the Yamanote Line, will have 1,247 units and a penthouse valued at ¥500 million (US$4.7 million). One unit, with 35 square meters of living, dining and kitchen areas costs ¥5 million (US$47,000) per square meter and is priced around ¥55 million (US$512,000). The location is a three-minute walk from both the Shirokane Takanawa Station and the Tokyo Tower. The west tower will be a mid-rise, 19-story building. The site will also include a medical facility in a low-rise building. The capital highway and Furukawa are located on the north side of the site and, in conjunction with the redevelopment, the Furukawa retaining wall is also being developed, along with a waterside promenade being built as a pedestrian road. In addition, a narrow alley on the south side of the site will be widened by the redevelopment.
