Following an international design competition, David Chipperfield Architects has been selected to build the Rolex USA Headquarters in New York. The new 25-story tower will be located on the corner of 5th Avenue and 53rd Street, replacing the existing building that has been occupied by Rolex since the 1970s.

As well as new office areas for staff and tenants and a new Rolex store at ground level, the building will provide brand experiences across a wide range of the company’s interests. This will allow it to become an important symbol of Rolex’s image.

The 165,000 square-foot (15,000 square-meter) building is designed in accordance with LEED Platinum to take into consideration the increasing concerns of sustainability and energy consumption, while enhancing the well-being of its users.
