A New Hotel is Opening in Cebu City
Sofitel Cebu City is set to be a 195-room hotel with two restaurants, a rooftop bar, and swimming pool and spa. Slated for Cebu Business Park, it will fittingly provide an executive floor lounge, business center, and meeting rooms in the mixed-use building designed by global architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The 50-hectare business park is also home to shopping centers like Ayala Center Cebu and Ayala Terraces, four-star hotel Seda Ayala Center Cebu, and residential condominiums like Solinea Tower.
“We are extremely pleased to be expanding our footprint in Cebu with the signing of Sofitel Cebu City. Our partners’ commitment to a long-term partnership with Accor in these difficult times demonstrates the trust and the confidence they have in our group, the popularity of our brands across various segments, our proven track record of operational excellence and the relationship-driven approach and flexibility towards owners and investors,” said Garth Simmons, chief executive officer of Accor in Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, in a statement.
