CTBUH has confirmed that the 66-story South Taihu CBD Tower has structurally topped out the main core structure for the building, located in Huzhou CBD, Zhejiang Province.  Part of a larger scheme undertaken by China Construction Third Bureau, the overall development covers approximately 390,000 square meters and includes scientific research, office spaces, and leisure facilities.

The South Taihu CBD Tower will be 318 meters, and may potentially be the tallest building in northern Zhejiang when completed. This development aims to boost the region's economy by creating a prominent feature in the Yangtze River Delta. The project utilized a customized fourth-generation "aerial building machine," integrating new technologies like "building machine + aluminum mold" for efficient construction. This innovation allowed synchronous construction of horizontal and vertical structures, reaching a speed of one floor every four days, establishing it as a model for intelligent construction technology.
