54-Story Residential in Jersey City has Topped Out
Construction has topped out on 505 Summit, a 54-story residential tower in Jersey City’s Journal Square. Designed by HLW International and developed by Panepinto Properties, the $388 million skyscraper will deliver 605 rental units and 4,000 sq ft of retail space. Located just south of the Journal Squared complex, the 577-foot tower is set to begin leasing in spring 2026.
Apartments will range from studios to three-bedroom layouts, with amenities including a pool terrace, coworking areas, fitness center, sports simulator, and resident lounge. A public plaza, parking garage, and bike storage are also planned. The project is transit-accessible via the nearby Journal Square PATH station.
Panepinto Properties CEO Joseph A. Panepinto Sr. highlighted the project’s role in Journal Square’s revitalization, noting it has created over 2,000 jobs and is progressing ahead of schedule.
