International Seed Funding Program - Mass Timber Construction

The Council continued its support of mass timber initiatives through its International Seed Funding program. The current program is being conducted by Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, examining the optimal approach to adding additional floors to existing buildings by using mass timber structures. The team completed its interim report in May 2022, with a final report due in August. Results will be published in the CTBUH Journal and distributed throughout the CTBUH network.
