After a months-long search, CTBUH hired Jacob Elbrecht as a research associate for the project. Elbrecht holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Auburn University (2019) and a Master of Science Degree in Architecture from the Rural Studio (2020). In prior roles he has developed a timber design optimization tool, conducted peer-reviewed research in construction systems and carried out carbon benchmark testing. Elbrecht will drive the compilation and interpretation of data, as well as graphical representation and composition of the project narrative.
