About the Event
The Tower at Pier 27 is Phase 3 of Cityzen Development Group and Fernbrook Homes' iconic condominium community on Toronto’s downtown waterfront. The 35-story condominium tower has recently topped off. Window wall erection is complete and balcony glazing is progressing above the 28th floor making it a perfect time for a construction tour. There are several innovative design and construction techniques to demonstrate at Pier 27, including deep cantilevered and post-tensioned balcony slabs, coupling slabs rather than coupling beams, and the dynamic articulating slab architecture.

The 421-unit tower was designed by architectsAlliance with structural engineering by Entuitive. The focus of the construction tour will include the streetscape details, modernistic suite designs, and structural erection details. The construction tour will give an in-depth look into the details of these elements.

Hosted by Cityzen, Fernbrook, TMG Builders and Entuitive, the CTBUH Canada Chapter is pleased to offer participants guided, small group tours each demonstrating specific aspects of the project. Following the tour, participants are invited to a hosted bar for networking and informal discussions with the project team.

***Please note that CSA-approved construction boots, hard hat and reflective vest are mandatory for all tour participants. Space limited to the first 40 registrants.
