Michelle Xuereb from BDP Quadrangle and Thomas Moore from Steven Winter Associates will walk us through some of their built projects, both institutional and multi-residential. Focus will be on reaching a higher Tier of the Toronto Green Standard (TGS), Net zero building, and we will also quickly dive into Passive House principle as a mean to reach full building Electrification.

Registration starts at 5:00 pm, with the presentations beginning at 5:30 pm.

Following the presentations, there is a hosted networking session held in the same venue from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Thomas Moore | Senior Building Systems Consultant at Steven Winter Associates

Thomas Moore specializes in Passive House, Net Zero, and advanced energy modeling. Thomas works on integrated teams of architects and engineers to design and construct exceptionally efficient buildings. Thomas brings a deep understanding of building envelope, HVAC, and domestic hot water systems to all projects. Thomas seeks to move projects towards de-carbonization, electrification, and Net Zero Ready designs using the principles of Passive House. His direct project experience includes large institutional projects as well as numerous affordable multifamily residential projects.

Michelle Xuereb | Director of innovation at BDP Quadrangle

As BDP Quadrangle’s Director of Innovation, Michelle harnesses expertise from across the practice and the industry to collaboratively test ideas that respond to the pressing global issues of our time, helping our business adapt to changes in the marketplace and increase value to clients.
