PROJECT DESCRIPTION

270 Park Avenue is set to be the new state-of-the-art global headquarters for JPMorgan Chase. The 1,388-foot (423 meter), 60-story skyscraper will be New York City’s largest all-electric tower with net zero operational emissions and exceptional indoor air quality that exceeds the highest standards in sustainability, health and wellness. It will help define the modern workplace with 21st century infrastructure, smart technology and 2.5 million square feet of flexible and collaborative space that can easily adapt to the future of work.

Speakers

James Shea
Managing Director, JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Jim Shea is the Head of Program Execution for JPMorgan Chase’s New York City worldwide headquarters and a member of the Global Real Estate leadership team. He oversees the firm’s multi-year headquarters project, which includes the 270 Park Avenue, and will serve as the cornerstone of JPMorgan Chase’s New York commercial office footprint.

Devin Maher
Executive Director, JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Devin Maher is an Executive Director in Global Real Estate, leading the development team for the firm’s global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue. Previously, he oversaw the development of a 1 million sq. ft. regional headquarters in Plano, Texas, along with other key projects across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Jeremy Dworken
Partner, Foster & Partners 

Jeremy Dworken is a Partner at Foster + Partners, leading the New York team on the design of JP Morgan’s headquarters at 270 Park Avenue. With over a decade at the firm, he specializes in craftsmanship, construction detailing, and high-profile projects, including the BAM Apple Store and 551 W 21st St residential tower.

Justin Boyer
Partner, Foster & Partners

Justin Boyer is a Partner at Foster + Partners, specializing in technical design and material research. He played a key role in the construction of 425 Park Avenue and more recently led the development of technical details for JP Morgan’s headquarters at 270 Park Avenue. His expertise extends to high-profile projects like the Memorial Sloan Kettering Patient Pavilion and 350 Park Avenue.

Michael Ritchie
Associate Principal, Adamson Associates

Michael is an Associate Principal at AAI with over a decade of experience in design, BIM coordination, and managing multidisciplinary teams. A registered architect in New York, he holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and is a LEED® Green Associate.

Christopher R. Horch
Associate Partner, JB&B

Christopher Horch is an Associate Partner at JB&B, leading the design of HVAC systems with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. He played a key role in JPMorgan Chase’s new headquarters at 270 Park Avenue, developing building electrification strategies that integrate heat pump technology, condenser water heat recovery, and onsite renewables. His expertise in advanced modeling and MEP design has driven carbon-reduction solutions that are both flexible and constructible.

Fortunato Orlando
Principal, Severud Associates

Mr. Orlando is a Principal at Severud Associates with expertise in structural engineering, project management, and large-scale development oversight. He holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in multiple states. Since joining Severud Associates in 1996, he has specialized in conceptual design, project planning, and high-level collaboration with developers, architects, and consultants. 

Peyman Askarinejad
Founding Principal, PAN Partners

Peyman is a highly accomplished professional, a founding principal at PAN Partners, a boutique consulting management firm with expertise in building design, construction, real estate investment and development. With decades of experience in progressive leadership roles, he is an esteemed expert in Tall Buildings, speaking at global conferences and actively serving on prestigious boards of nonprofit institutions. He has successfully managed internationally renowned multi-billion complex building construction projects with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
