CTBUH Germany Presents: The Future City - Highrises and Sustainability

Tuesday, 11 October 2022 | Oskar von Miller Forum, Oskar von Müller Ring 25 | Munich

Join CTBUH Germany for an event dedicated to the question of how sustainable high-rise buildings can actually be, and where the limits of what is feasible (and sensible) lie.

Should a high-rise building be built - and how does one define its sustainability? Under what urban development conditions should a high-rise building be built at all? And if one is already high: What constructions can be used to best reduce material consumption and emissions can best be reduced? Last, but not least: What role does technology play in all of this?

Four experts shed light on our topic from very different perspectives - architecture, engineering, energy concepts, urban planning. Short keynote speeches will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to discuss what you have seen and heard over drinks and finger food.
