2021 CTBUH Global Walking Tour: Cape Town

DETAILS

The Cape Town Walking Tour will start in Adderly Street where the major transport hubs are located as well as some of the tallest buildings in the city. The group will walk from Adderley down to Coen Steytler, back up Lower Long Street and across Wale to Bree Street. This route will allow attendees to view the tallest buildings in the city whilst passing transport links to trains, buses, taxis, and even water taxis. The group will walk along De Waterkant towards the V&A Waterfront. The tour will pass the canal ways and end in the Silo District on the roof of the Silo Hotel, this building having been the tallest building in Sub Saharan Africa when constructed.
