On 4 June 2025, CTBUH and Stichting Hoogbouw announced that they are forming a partnership to promote best practices and support better density. The news was shared to over 160 delegates at the CTBUH 2025 Europe Conference during the core program in Amsterdam, being held in the repurposed De Duif. CTBUH Chair Shonn Mills presented this exciting information and partnership that will strengthen ties in the Netherlands region, to Erik Faber, President of the Board for Stichting Hoogbouw. Mills and Faber signed a ceremonial document in front of the crowd attending, signifying this incredible new chapter with the Council.
