Through correspondence with stakeholders, the research team developed a detailed matrix of case study materials to evaluate the types of data fields common to a majority of projects, the level of responsiveness in terms of answers to the case study questionnaire as well as provision of other materials, and a relative ranking of case study viability, so that efforts can be more concentrated for the next, intensive stages of the research.
