Developer Hircon International inaugurated a CTBUH signboard at 23 Marina in Dubai on March 27, 2012, recognizing the 393-meter building as the tallest residential building in the world when it was completed earlier this year.

The signboard was installed at the base of 23 Marina, which is located within the Dubai Marina district known as the "Tallest Block in the World." The neighborhood is home to four of the six tallest residential towers in the world, including the 352-meter Torch, the 380-meter Elite Residences and the 413-meter Princess Tower, which has already passed 23 Marina as the tallest residential tower in the world.

Developed by master developer Emaar, builder of the 828-meter Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, Dubai Marina is built around one of the largest manmade marinas in the world. Plans call for more than 120,000 people to live in the district when it is completed.
