Technical Workshops Tuesday, September 16th | 技术研讨会  9月16日周二
The first day of the conference will be focused on technical workshops covering a wide variety of relevant subjects – life cycle analysis, seismic design, wind engineering, façade design, vertical transportation, etc. CTBUH Leaders and Working Group Chairs will join with conference delegates to debate the main issues affecting these fields at the technical workshops, and lay down a plan for output from the group, hopefully leading to the production of CTBUH Technical Guides at some point in the future.

Attendance at the Workshops is free for CTBUH members and registered conference delegates.

Technical Guides launched at recent CTBUH conferences include:
•    London 2013: The Tall Buildings Reference Book and Wind Tunnel Testing of High-Rise Buildings
•    Shanghai 2012: Natural Ventilation in High-Rise Office Buildings and Outrigger Design for High-Rise Buildings
•    Dubai 2008: Seismic Design of High-Rise Buildings
会议第一天下午将召开技术研讨会,聚焦行业中众多相关议题——生命周期评估、抗震设计、风工程、外墙设计、垂直交通等。CTBUH领导和工作小组主席将会出席研讨会,和参加代表一起讨论这些主题对建筑和城市的影响,以及为将来工作小组的发展制定计划,希望在将来将CTBUH技术指南推向一个新的高度。

Building Movement and Damping Systems

This workshop addresses the issues of live loads and wind acceleration on tall buildings, and investigates damping and other structural engineering techniques to counter these effects.

Considering The Whole Life Cycle
