As well as the central Congress theme of “Asia Ascending: Age of the Sustainable Skyscraper City,” there will be three themed tracks running across the three-day event:
Track 1: Planning & Infrastructure for Sustainable Skyscraper Cities
Track 2: Best-Practice Urban and Building Case Studies: Asia
Track 3: The Latest Design & Technical Advances in Tall Buildings
Track 4: Academic and Research Advancements
Each day of the Congress will begin with a common plenary session before proceeding into three simultaneous track sessions for the remainder of the day. There will thus be 82 speaker slots at the event.

As the recognized international authority on tall buildings, CTBUH conferences differ significantly from the many commercial conferences that are now being held around the world, in terms of both quality of knowledge-share and business networking opportunities.
Dissemination of best-practice information is of primary importance at CTBUH conferences. Every presentation given at the Congress will be substantiated by a paper which will be rigorously peer-reviewed and published in the proceeding: a high-quality, hardback book around 1,000 pages in length, produced in dual-language (English and Chinese). This proceeding, which delegates will receive in both hard-copy and digital format at the Congress, will form an important historical archive long after the event has ended. The official language of the Congress will be English, though there is an intention to deliver at least the keynote presentations each day with simultaneous translation from English to Chinese and vice versa.
