Simona Talenti, is Associate Professor in History of Architecture at the University of Salerno (Italy). She graduated at the University of Venice and she received a PhD at the University of Paris VIII. She began her university career in France teaching history of architecture courses at various architectural schools, like École d’architecture de Paris-Belleville, de Bretagne. She taught d at the Faculty of architecture at the University of Bologna from 2004 to 2007. Research topics focuses on the architectural historiography, on the architecture of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and on the relationship between architects and engineers during this period.
