Kenneth A. Lewis, AIA, is a Managing Partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. He joined SOM in 1986, and has since worked on a diverse range of architectural projects across the globe, including large-scale mixed-use developments, commercial and residential towers, and corporate headquarters. Ken has built a reputation for overseeing projects of enormous scale and complexity in New York, including One World Trade Center, 7 World Trade Center, Time Warner Center, 35 Hudson Yards, and Manhattan West. Civic engagement has always been important to Ken. He currently serves as Treasurer of the AIA Center for Architecture, on the Board of Directors of the Urban Green Council, on the Architect Leadership Council of the New York Building Congress, and he is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. Ken holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.
