About

Ken joined Pappageorge Haymes Partners in 1984 after receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois. His work professional work has focussed on adaptive reuse, historic and sustainable projects including the Montgomery Wards Warehouse & Tower, the Steger, Gibbons, Straus and Old Colony Buildings in Chicago.

He is an advisor to the American Institute of Architects and the City of Chicago on code policy and contributor to Chicago’s recent Building Code modernization. Awards include the AIA Chicago Distinguished Service Award, City of Chicago Preservation Excellence Award, Landmarks Illinois Driehaus Award and ULI Chicago Vision Award.
