About

Eli Gottlieb, Managing Principal and Director of Thornton Tomasetti’s Midtown New York office, joined Thornton Tomasetti in 1996. Eli received his M.S in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University and his B.S in Structural Engineering and Architecture from Princeton. His experience includes the design and review of a wide range of structures including commercial and residential buildings, sports facilities, historic structures and cultural and academic facilities. Some of his recent notable projects include the Sunnyside Yards Overbuild Master Plan in NYC, the Hudson Yards Platform over the Long Island Railroad, the SHED at Hudson Yards and the Vessel.
