Beyhan Karahan, AIA LEED AP is a practicing architect and a teacher. Her work has been exhibited and published in the USA and Europe. Her academic research involves adaptive re-use of existing structures and sustainable landscape urbanism. She teaches History and Theory of Urban Design and Design Studios at the New York Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Design.
Ms. Karahan has a March from Columbia University GSAPP (1977) and a BS in Mathematics from SUNY at Stony Brook and the Middle East Technical University Ankara, Turkey (1974). She is a registered architect in NY, NJ and Conn-USA.
