Yokohama Kitanaka Tower Approaches Topping Out

Yokohama, Japan 7 February 2019

The Yokohama Kitanaka Tower has reached its full story count of 58 stories, with a roof height of 199.95 meters and an architectural height of 211.95 meters. The tower can be viewed from the observation deck of the Yokohama Landmark Tower.

The tower’s basement will be directly connected to the Bashamichi station on the Minatomirai Line. The tower’s podium will become a commercial and cultural facility, while the 5th to 45th floors and the 52nd to 58th floors will become condominiums, providing 1,176 homes. These dwellings will be known as The Tower Yokohama Northern. At level 46, there is an observation area and a restaurant, as well as a dedicated lobby for a suite of 175 rooms, known as the Oakwood units, which will occupy the 47th through the 51st floors. The property’s units have already sold out, with an ¥800-million (US$7.2 million) room among them.
