The CTBUH Calendar page profiles events organized by CTBUH, its chapters or other affiliated organizations. For an event to be featured, it must fulfill the following conditions:
- be organized by a CTBUH member company;
- be focused on our mission content (ie. an aspect of tall buildings / urban density / future cities);
- and be a non-profit endeavor.

TALL TIMBER: The Future of Cities in Wood
TALL TIMBER, a new exhibition curated by The Skyscraper Museum, focuses on Mass Timber high-rises, and is based, in part, on the exhibition REFRAMED. REFRAMED was co-curated by the Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and presented by the Softwood Lumber Board at the CAC from April 25, 2023 through January 7, 2024.

Mark your calendar and plan to join us for the CTBUH 2024 Europe Conference, "Future-Fit Cities: Safer, Adaptive Density in a Changing Era," 18 & 19 April, in Istanbul, to explore the obstacles and opportunities facing European cities today.
TALL TIMBER: Bicoastal Beginnings and Where are We Now?
On Wednesday, April 24 at 6pm EDT, The Skyscraper Museum launches its "Mass Timber Semester" lecture series which brings together key voices in the Mass Timber movement to reflect on its short history, current condition, and promising future. RSVP to attend the in-person program to be held at the office of Arup, at 77 Water St. in lower Manhattan. This program will also be live streamed to the Museum's Youtube channel.
CTBUH Philadelphia Presents: Creating a Campus within the Urban Habitat
Join us for a keynote presentation by Pete Cramer, Vice President, Development at Wexford Science & Technology. This panel discussion will detail the thought process and steps taken to create a modern and inviting campus within the existing University City landscape. Principals from the key stakeholders will discuss the importance of integrating the existing community into these new developments.
CTBUH UK FLC Presents: Wharf Connect X CTBUH
Canary Wharf Group will be hosting an event bringing together it's Wharf Connect early careers network and the CTBUH UK Future Leaders for an evening showcasing CWG's marketing suite as well as an opportunity to visit show apartments at their flagship BTR buidling, Newfoundland. This will be followed by an informal networking opportunity in Newfoundland's parlour area.

The CTBUH 2024 International Conference, "New or Renew: Addressing the Density Dilemma," from 23-27 September 2024, in London and Paris, looks at the challenging dilemma facing the construction industry today: Should we build new buildings, or should we renew the existing ones?

CTBUH Chicago at BuiltX
The EMDC program at Northwestern is hosting a fantastic free event in partnership with SLOAN on Green St. in Fulton Market on Thursday, April 18th.
