Five finalists have been selected, from 229 entries globally, who will all now travel to the CTBUH 2017 Australia Conference, with a winner to be chosen during a special session. A total of $21,000 in prizes will be awarded to the finalists. Learn More.

2017 Research Seed Funding

Dr. Kate Swinburne, a Senior Fire Engineer at Olsson Fire & Risk UK, has won a grant of $20,000 to develop a database of high-rise façade fires, which will identify areas for further research and chart a path toward new and innovative fire solutions. Learn More.

Traveling Tall Building Academic Studio

This year’s traveling studio will be undertaken by 12 students from the Illinois Institute of Technology, with assistance from the CTBUH and $20,000 in funding from AECOM, allowing the students to attend the CTBUH 2017 Australia Conference. Learn More.
