Mr. Maibusch has over 31 years experience in the construction industry.  His project experience includes highrises, educational, and healthcare facilities, including Boeing's 777 Headquarters, the 63 story Gateway Tower (now called Seattle Municipal Tower) in Seattle USA and a 112 story mixed use tower in Doha, Qatar.

He has worked throughout the USA's Pacific Northwest (Washington State, Oregon, Alaska) and currently serves as Project Director for Turner Construction International in Doha, Qatar.

He is a Certified Construction Manager with the Construction Management Association of America and a LEED Accredited Professional.  He holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Architecture from the University of Illinois USA.

He currently sits on the Council's Board of Trustees as Secretary of the Board's Executive Committee, and also serves as the Council's country representative in Qatar. He also serves on the Council's Height Committee.

On May 31, 2010, Mr. Maibusch initiated the first regional meeting of the CTBUH Qatar.
