Peter Murray Hon FRIBA FRSA is founder Director of the New London Architecture Centre which is the focus for debate and discussion of issues relating to development in the British capital. The centre brings together planners, politicians, professionals and the general public. The centre includes a 1500 scale model of central London, permanent displays of plans proposed by the Mayor of London and the local boroughs as well as a regular programme of temporary exhibitions on projects and competitions. Peter trained as an architect but has spent much of his career as a writer and communicator. He was Technical Editor of Architectural Design Magazine, Editor of Building Design Newspaper and Editor of the RIBA Journal. He founded the design and architecture magazine Blueprint. He is chairman of Wordsearch a global marketing company specialising in architecture and real estate and a co-director of the London Festival of Architecture. He is editor of PidgeonDigital.com and Editor in Chief of New London Quarterly.
