Sale Sets Trump Tower Record

Restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow has sold his 3,700-square foot (344-square meter) condominium in New York's Trump Tower for $16.5 million, the highest recorded sale price in the building's 30-year history. Chodorow created the three-bedroom, six-bathroom unit by combining three separate apartments on the 38th floor into one. Read more.

Skyscraper Powerhouse Extell Plans Next Pair of Towers

This week Extell Development has set in motion efforts to build two towers in New York in the near future. The company revealed preliminary plans for the mixed-use 217 West 57th Street, and announced that it had bought air rights for a residential tower at 536-547 10th Avenue. Read more.

SOM Tower Coming to Main Street, Salt Lake City

Illinois-based Cushman & Wakefield is planning a downtown Salt Lake City office building to be located at 111 Main Street. The 24-story tower, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by Hamilton Partners, will be adjacent to the new Utah Performing Arts Center. Read more.

First KONE UltraRope Installation at Marina Bay

KONE has announced the first customer installation of its new, lightweight and durable UltraRope elevator hoisting technology at the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore. Developers Launch Tower at Triangular Site

Developers have set in motion plans to build a tower as tall as 672 feet (205 meters) at a triangular site at 30 Marsh Wall, near Canary Wharf, approximately 1,640 feet (500 meters) from One Canada Square.
