Shanghai Tower Gets Finishing Touch

Shanghai Tower Celebrates Topping Out to Worldwide Fanfare

Topping out ceremonies for the Shanghai Tower were held in the Jujiazui financial hub of Shanghai on August 2. The ¥15 billion (US$2.4 billion) tower, whose concrete core is now complete, designed by Gensler, will measure 632 meters (2,073 feet) and feature the world's fastest elevators, traveling the building's entire height in one minute. The Vermont Tops Out in LA
