May 4, Chicago Four months after a helicopter installed the structural undergirding for the spire for the 92-story Trump International Hotel & Hotel, iron workers finally are putting the fiberglass covering for the spire into place. The work was done over the first weekend of May 2009. All but the top tier of the spire is complete. Work also continues on the skyscraper's tiered plaza along the riverfront, which promises to be a thriving public space...more
