The AED1 billion Infinity Tower has been renamed Cayan Tower, after its developer. The name was chosen to end the confusion with the other two Infinity Towers, in Brisbane and Manama. The twisting 310-meter (1,017-foot) tower opened last night in Dubai Marina after seven years on construction.
"I like to describe it as my baby," Cayan Chairman Ahmed Alhatti, told The National. "There's more than one Infinity Tower in the world, and we believe there's no tower in the world like ours. This will be the only Cayan Tower. We wanted it to be connected to us."
