Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) is designing the tower at Hudson Yards which will house leather-goods brand Coach, Inc. The tower has been on the drawing table for a year and is intended to create an urban campus for the brand.

The Hudson Yards development, which is supposed to break ground soon, is the multibillion dollar development that will rise at the largest undeveloped site on the island of Manhattan, located at the north end of the High Line. When Coach committed to the project in November 2011, the development found real momentum, according to Bloomberg.

“It is a rarity for a brand, a city and an architectural project to come together,” Coach's executive creative director Reed Krakoff told the New York Times.

The New York Times focuses on the involvement of KPF principal William Pedersen, who was honored with the CTBUH’s Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.

Coach Tower will be 48-stories tall and include 1.7 million square feet of usable pace.
