Site-work has officially begun for the stalled 74-story 1101 Brickell residential tower in Downtown Miami. Upon completion, the project will become Miami's tallest building, and will reportedly cost between $500 to $600 million.

The previously 80-story building has been planned for years, but stalled and thought to have died due to the recession. In June, developer Tibor Hollo announced that 1101 Brickell would resume planning and begin construction.
