The National Building Museum (NBM) in Washington DC is featuring an exhibit entitled "Detroit Disassembled: Photographs by Andrew Moore." The show features haunting images of the resulting remnants of the city's massive exodus.
Detroit has lost about two-thirds of its 1950 population of 1.8 million; it was recently estimated that one family leaves every 20 minutes.
The NBM is also showing "Detroit Is No Dry Bones: Photographs by Camilo Jose Vergara."
