A new hotel development in New York that will be the tallest hotel building in the Western Hemisphere, 1717 Broadway, has topped out at 753-feet (230-meters), the tower’s developer Granite Broadway Development announced Thursday.

A 378-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 256-room Residence Inn by Marriott are planned for the same Nobutaka Ashihara-designed structure. The building also includes 20,000 square feet of retail space.
