JDS Development Group is developing a luxury 51-story skyscraper close to One57, the 306-meter tower designed by Atelier Christian de Portzamparc. The exclusive 697-foot (212-meter) tall tower, designed by Cetra/Ruddy architects, features only 28 apartment units.

The building is narrow, located on a 43-foot (13-meter) wide lot.

"This creates for quite the exclusive building, as there is no more than one apartment per floor, according to the building permits," The New York Observer reports.

Simplexes are located on floors seven through 19 while floors 20 through 46 contain duplexes. The top of the building is dedicated to a four-plex. The 51st and final floor is listed as “recreational space.”

The first, second and third floors will contain 10,000-square feet of retail. The rear of the building faces Central Park.
