A group of LEGO fans in Prague has set a new record for the world’s tallest LEGO Tower record with a 32-meter (106-foot) tall tower. Czech Olympic rowing champion Miroslava Knapkova placed the final block on the tower, which passed Great Britain's previous record holder by 30 centimeters (12 inches).
The tower was constructed to mark Lego's 80th anniversary, and marks the latest in a flurry of tall LEGO tower construction. The previous record holder, which measured 105 feet tall, was constructed in Windsor's LEGO Park about one month ago.
The Windsor effort surpassed a tower built in Korea a few months earlier.
