The Guinness Book of World Records officially registered Dubai's Princess Tower as the world's tallest residential building. The building, which recently topped out at 413 meters tall (1,356 feet), will surpass the present record holder, 23 Marina, by 20 meters (67feet).

The CTBUH lists Princess Tower as topped out, but not complete. The Council does not recognize projects as the tallest until they are completed and occupied.
Princess Tower features indoor-outdoor swimming pools, a gymnasium and aerobics room, recreation rooms, saunas, ground floor retail outlet and high speed elevators.
Princess is part of the world’s tallest residential neighborhood. In addition to Princess and 23 Marina, the neighborhood includes The Torch, a 337-meter tower which finished last year and briefly held the title of tallest residential tower. Construction has stalled on the nearby 516-meter Pentominium, which would pass all the existing towers.
