Kyo-ya, the owner of the Sheraton Resorts and Hotels, is moving to build two new high-rises at the corner of Kalakaua and Kaiulani in Waikiki. One high-rise hotel tower will replace the Diamond Head tower of the Moana Surfrider. The present structure was built in the 1950s and is eight stories high.
