The CTBUH would like to congratulate Rob Smith and Michael Willford of Arup who have been selected as recipients for the Best Journal Paper of the Year (2007) for their paper entitled: ‘The Damped Outrigger Concept for Tall Buildings’ published in the CTBUH / Wiley special edition of the journal The Structural Design of Tall and Special Buildings, 2007.
The winners of the awards are selected by the editorial board of the journal, the members of the Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Council, members of the CTBUH, and past winners of the Structural Engineers of the Year Award.
