CTBUH Research & Communications Manager Jan Klerks and Trustee William Maibusch will represent the CTBUH during the 2009 edition of TowerTech. This is an annual tower building technologies trade fair, organized in Doha, Qatar between October 12 and 15. It presents products and services, technologies and innovations, trends and tendencies aimed at Middle East trade markets. CTBUH selected the Tornado Tower in Doha for the 2009 award of the best Tall Building in the Middle East & Africa region, spurring great interest in these topics. During the event, Klerks will give a presentation about the latest international developments of skyscrapers.
